Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This policy explains what information DailyJobFeed (“we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using dailyjobfeed.com you agree to this policy.
What we collect
If you subscribe to our email digest, we collect:
- Your email address
- The preferences you select (job categories, work mode, send time)
- Timestamps showing when you subscribed and last opened/clicked an email
We do not ask for or store your name, address, phone number, resume, or any other personal information.
How we use it
Your email is used solely to send the daily job digest you subscribed to and operational messages about that subscription (e.g. unsubscribe confirmations). We do not sell, rent, or share your email with any third party.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (page views, traffic sources, aggregate device data). Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect data such as your IP address (anonymised), browser, and pages visited.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by using your browser's "Do Not Track" / cookie-blocking settings.
Advertising
We display ads served by Google AdSense, a third-party ad network. We have configured AdSense to serve non-personalised ads only — meaning ads are chosen based on the content of the page you are viewing, not based on your browsing history or behaviour across other sites.
AdSense may still set a small number of cookies for operational purposes — such as preventing the same ad from being shown to you repeatedly (frequency capping), measuring ad performance in aggregate, and detecting click fraud. These cookies do not build a profile of you.
You can:
- Review and adjust your ad preferences at Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
Some advertisers may also use web beacons or similar technology to measure ad effectiveness. We do not have access to or control over those technologies and recommend reviewing the advertisers' own privacy policies for details.
Your rights (EU / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the basis of your consent (for the email subscription) and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the site (for analytics and non-personalised advertising).
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of that data
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@dailyjobfeed.com.
California residents (CCPA)
We do not sell personal information. California residents may request to know what personal information we have collected, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Contact hello@dailyjobfeed.com to submit a request.
Data retention
We retain subscriber emails until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribed records are kept in an inactive state (no further emails sent) so we can honour your unsubscribe — we do not delete the row outright. You can request full deletion by emailing us.
Job listings are retained for up to 6 months after their posting date.
Children's privacy
DailyJobFeed is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we will delete the record.
Unsubscribing
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately stops all future emails.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 14 days. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
